Slurries are fed onto the surface from above and the unit utilizes both gravity and vacuum to effect rapid separation of liquid and solids. The full range of coarse granular to fine slime or fibrous solids can be processed because of the top feeding principle and excellent hydraulic design.

EIMCO-K.C.P. Extractor horizontal belt filter is a continuous Vacuum filter operating on a horizontal plane. Slurries are fed onto the surface from above and the unit utilize both gravity and vacuum to effect rapid separation of liquid and solids. The full range of coarse granular to fine slime or fibrous solids can be processed because of the top feeding principle and excellent hydraulic design. The EIMCO-K.C.P. Extractor is especially suited to applications where low cake moisture and multi-stage cake washing are desirable. The cloth medium can be washed during each cycle or intermittently to prevent blinding and ensure full filtration efficiency. Liquid used to wash the medium cannot contaminate the feed or the products.

Cloth media washing arrangement can be varied depending upon application. Multiple wash can be applied using high impact sprays. Cloth can be dried by air blow. No possibility of media wash water mixing with feed.

Hy flow drainage deck. Can be supplied in corrosion resistant and heat resistant material. Vacuum applied through porous openings in deck.

Easy to operate. Simple, enclosed drive is protected against atmospheric corrosion. Drive is fully sealed. Twice yearly maintenance is all that is required. Simplified cloth aligning mechanisms available depending on customer requirement. Entire unit easy to clean and service. Highly skilled operators not required.
